For Dr. Holly Vandewalle, veterinary medicine brings together two lifelong loves: animals and biology. She enjoys the variety and challenge of the profession, and the fact that there’s always something new to discover.
At Mill Bay Veterinary Hospital, Holly loves getting to know her clients and their pets while working alongside a supportive, caring team. She has a special interest in internal medicine and preventative care, with a focus on helping pets live healthier, happier lives. She also believes the best care happens when clients feel informed, listened to, and part of the team.
Outside the clinic, Holly can often be found exploring Vancouver Island with her golden retriever, Booger, who is never far from the action. She also enjoys running, reading, spending time outdoors, and discovering new places.
Fun fact: Holly is half Belgian, half English, moved to Canada from Europe, and speaks Flemish, so she brings a little international flair to the team!
