Dr. Kari Hilsen
Small Animal Veterinarian
Dr. Kari Hilsen was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and started her career working with small/companion animals. She made the big move to Vancouver Island in 2017 to practice in Nanaimo, in 2020 she joined the amazing team at the Mill Bay Veterinary Hospital. She has a particular interest in medical cases, surgery and dentistry.
In her free time, Kari enjoys spending time with her partner Kent hiking, kayaking, and exploring local hidden gems. She also has two dogs and a cat that keep life very exciting and full of cuddles and laughs.
