I graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2016. I always knew I wanted to work with animals from a young age, so when I learned about what being an RVT meant and entailed, I knew I had found my dream career! My husband's family has been coming to Mill Bay Vet Hospital for years. In fact, they were Chris and Jim's (the original owners) first clients when the clinic opened in 1979! Plus, I loved the idea of working in a mixed-animal practice. My amazing coworkers and Doctors who I am fortunate enough to work with every day (and of course the animals). The fact that it is always busy and that it is a mixed-animal practice. Fun fact about me is that I can say the alphabet backwards. Also, I had a hamster named "Happy" when I turned seven.
Thank you for your continued support. Your safety and your pets' health are of utmost importance to us.
1. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
2. OPERATING HOURS
We are OPEN with the following hours:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thank you for your patience and understanding and we look forward to seeing you and your furry family members again!
