Dr. Riddett was born and raised in Alberta and despite calling the island home since 2008, she’s still got some prairie girl in her. She graduated from the University of Calgary's Veterinary Medicine Program in 2020 where she focused on equine medicine. Elizabeth is a true horse girl, and has worked with everything from Chuckwagon horses to backyard ponies to big draft working horses! Elizabeth’s veterinary special interests are wound management and emergency care. She enjoys working with all animals, and has a special fondness for beef cattle, cats, and, of course, horses! Elizabeth always jumps at the chance to try something new and learn another skill. In her spare time, Elizabeth is an avid CrossFitter, amateur Jill-of-all-trades, and backcountry camper. She loves spending time with her son and her cat, planning the next big adventure.
Thank you for your continued support. Your safety and your pets' health are of utmost importance to us.
1. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
2. OPERATING HOURS
We are OPEN with the following hours:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thank you for your patience and understanding and we look forward to seeing you and your furry family members again!
