Angela started working at Mill Bay Veterinary Hospital in August 2018 as a veterinary assistant.
Born and raised in Victoria, Angela is an only child and spent a lot of her time with her animal companions. She was involved in Pony Club and has always had a love for horses. Over the years, she has had many different types of pets, even a Hedgehog! Angela has worked with animals in retail and veterinary reception and now enjoys the hands-on work of a veterinary assistant.
When Angela is not at the clinic she is diligently completing her credentials as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is looking forward to helping all of our clients and their furry family members who come through the doors. She happy working in a fast paced environment and the constant learning that comes with the veterinary field!
A fun fact about Angela is that she with her husband and two children (and the family dog) in Costa Rica for two years, where she volunteered for a Spay and Neuter Campaign, fostering/adoption of street puppies, wound care for homeless dogs and helped with wildlife rehabilitation. Since returning to Canada, she volunteers her time helping animals in our community.
